Kronen has released the AS-4 multifunction machine for processing fresh fruit, such as melons, oranges, grapefruit, lemons, kiwis, pineapples and apples.

The machine not only peels and cores 600 apples an hour, but produces wedges (2, 4, 8, 12, 16 or 24) and cut slices of 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 mm. The spring-loaded peeling head automatically adjusts for a consistent and repeatable peel.

The semi-automatic AS-4 is a bench model, suited to small to medium processors, bakeries, kitchens, clubs and restaurants.
