The TNA FloFin Former combined with the high-speed, high-efficiency Robag 3 creates packaging flexibility. The former generally is located within a cabinet of the packing machines, transforming flat bag film material into a tubular configuration leading to how the end product is to be presented to end consumers.
The Robag 3 features a redesigned, ergonomic swing-out former mechanism for easy unloading and rapid changeover.
Now changing the former can be achieved without tools and in less than 60 s.
Integrated in the mechanism is an optional Auto Connect system for air blasts and nitrogen flushing.
With the FloFin Former, users can produce both a lap back seal and a fin back seal with one easy-to-use former.
To change between lap or fin seal, the user simply has to use the appropriate reel width film and thread through the former to form the preferred bake seal. Please note the film reel size will be different between fin or lap seal, as one size film will not be able to produce the same result on the FloFin Former.
The advantages of the former include: reduced capital investment (one former for two different bag types); increased production time (changeover time reduced, only need to change the film); ease of use; easy to change; flexible (sizes from 10 to 420 mm); and low maintenance.
