Exair Long Super Air Knives

Wednesday, 03 March, 2010 | Supplied by: Compressed Air Australia Pty Ltd

Exair’s Long Super Air Knives produce a laminar sheet of airflow to blowoff, dry or cool wide surfaces up to 2438 mm. The compact, energy-efficient design minimises compressed air use by entraining 40 parts room air to one part compressed air, suitable for use on wide parts, webs and conveyors.

The product provides a uniform, high-volume, high-velocity curtain of air that is infinitely adjustable from gentle blowing force to a hard-hitting blast of air. Its profile measures 45 x 37 mm with compressed air inlets located on each end and the bottom to permit easy mounting in tight spaces. It is quiet, maintenance free and has no moving parts to wear out.

The knives are available in 1524, 1829, 2134 and 2438 mm lengths that are fully assembled. Available in aluminium, Type 303 stainless steel or Type 316 stainless steel, a factory-installed plumbing kit is available to connect the knives to any plant compressed air system to obtain the best performance.
