Eltra precision rectilinear potentiometers
Automated Motion Systems is offering the Eltra precision rectilinear potentiometers, which are suitable for automation applications where analog position feedback is required, in linear motion control systems. They are commonly used with pneumatic, electric or hydraulic actuators.
Four different models are available depending on mounting style. Stroke lengths range from 10 to 1500 mm and the 3-wire 5k resistance is easy to measure or convert to 4-20 mA or other standard instrumentation signals. The output signal is absolute so the reading is maintained after loss of power.
Independent linearity of 0.05 to 0.1% makes this model well suited to precision applications.
These sensors are ruggedly constructed and mechanical mounting is made simple by ball joints on each end to compensate for angular misalignment. The IP65 protection makes these sensors suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
