Dosing valve

Valve manufacturer ASV Stübbe has introduced enhancements to its dosing valve, the ProfiDos 101.

The ProfiDos 101 features a 180° opening angle and grooved, ‘safefloat’ ball that provides exact dosing. It can now be fully automatically controlled and is available in sizes from DN 15 to DN 50, in PVC-U and PP. The ball seats are made of PTFE as standard, the soft seats of EPDM or FPM.

The ProfiDos 101 provides actual measurement and is suitable for a wide range of applications where precise dosing is required. Accuracy is assured when using either the manually operated version, or the fully automatic version which provides full modulation over 180°, using a 4-20 mA or 0-10 V input control signal.

ProfiDos 101 has a one-piece body and union socket ends for solvent welding (PVC-U) or fusion welding (PP), ensuring quick installation or retrofitting.

Suitable for use in many applications such as chemical plants, water treatment plants and surface technology applications, the ProfiDos 101 combines the function of a valve and a control device in one unit, and the welded valve body minimises the possibility of leakage during operation.
