The Carbofresh carbon dioxide dosing unit can be used to dose small quantities of carbon dioxide into wine to freshen the product, intensify the flavour, and give elegance, particularly to white wines.

The Carbofresh dosing unit allows the operator to dial up the exact dosage in g/L and have the CO2 fully absorbed into the wine before bottling either with a cork or ROTE closure.

The unit requires only the gas to operate and no electrical connection, which makes it fully transportable (only 5.5 kg) to wherever it is required.

Fitted with standard 25 mm BSM fittings, the standard unit will deliver flow rates of 1400 L/h.

Larger units can deliver up to 30,000 L/h.

The unit will carbonate up to 5 bar and is therefore suitable for carbonation of sparkling wines.
