Automatic conveyor cleaning system

Lagafors Fabriks has introduced a control system which can be retrofitted into existing Lagafors equipment, which allows the cleaning process for conveyors to be easily automated.

The automatic cleaning system LAC not only decreases the cost in man-hours and the amount of water consumed but also reduces the amount of chemicals and disinfectants used. At the same time, the bacteriological safety of the production equipment is increased.

The automatic cleaning system (LAC) is made up of the control unit (the operator terminal where all settings are made) and a maximum of two valve stations, which regulate the flow of water, as well as the addition of chemicals and disinfectants. The valve stations are directly connected to the Lagafors chemical centre (VCC) and one of the Lagafors central pump systems in order to simplify the process and maximise the use of existing equipment.
