The BETE XAAD nozzle uses the energy in compressed air to produce highly atomised sprays at low flow rates to ensure a total clean with less compressed air consumption.
The XAAD nozzle employs an internal mix set-up, whereby the cleaning liquid and the compressed air streams meet within the nozzle, are mixed together and are expelled through the same orifice. Air and liquid feeds are located at opposite ends, perpendicular to the spray. The internal mix set-up ensures the finest atomisation and can only be used for liquids with a low viscosity (>200 centipoise).
The XAAD nozzle is fitted with a spring-loaded plunger that, when pressed, will force a small diameter rod through the liquid orifice, cleaning any obstruction; this is useful for intermittent spraying of a liquid that may dry in the orifice when not in use.
Available in a variety of materials, such as nickel-plated brass, 303 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel, the nozzle can handle fluid pressures from 0.7 to 4.0 bar and pipe sizes of 3 or 6 mm.
