Alfatek bottling lines

ABEVE has been appointed the Australian distributor for Italian bottling line manufacturer Alfatek.

Alfatek’s standard systems feature low-pressure filler valves (using inert gas) as opposed to low-vacuum systems. In this way the aromatics and gases are retained and oxidation absolutely minimised. This system is especially suited to wines and other aromatic beverages. The low-pressure system is suitable for slightly carbonated wines and other drinks alleviating the cost of the more expensive counter-pressure fillers.

Alfatek systems are manufactured to minimise oxygen levels in the beverage with levels from 0 to 0.2 ppm claimed. The rotative DEOX station removes 85-90% of the oxygen in the bottle before it enters the filling valve.

Another innovation is the sealed separation tank for the displaced air during the filling stage. Usually this air from the bottle is fed back into the reservoir of the filler valves. To completely remove any chance of this air polluting the beverage, Alfatek returns this to a sealed separate section which can be cleaned and sanitised during standard CIP regimes.
