Red meat rules in online purchases
Australian online marketplace Butcherman has released its Red Meat Index, an analysis of more than 30,000 customer orders placed on its website by over 10,000 customers, between 1 October and 31 December 2015.
The data shows that customers using the website — an online marketplace of farmers, butcher shops and meat wholesalers — preferred red meat to chicken, with the top five most popular cuts of meat being red meat.

- Eye fillet
- Lamb backstrap
- Chicken thigh
- Lamb rack
- Eye fillet
- Chicken schnitzel
- Beef sausages
