New name for Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne Group

Following the merger in September 2018, belting technology suppliers Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne Group have announced their new corporate group name will be AMMEGA.

The name aims to unite the two brands and their employees under a common identity and corporate vision and mission. However, Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne will preserve their existing brand reputations and their respective channel-to-market strategies will remain unchanged.

AMMEGA Corporate Marketing Director Marc Maisonneuve explained, “Ensuring continuity, especially in the way we serve our valued customers, is a top priority.”

The merger will allow the two companies to combine their knowledge, research and development activities, business systems and people to enhance customer service and technology. Together, they aim to be a “new belting champion” in industrial power transmission belting and lightweight conveyor.

CEO Stijn Vriends said, “With over 5000 employees, more than 25 manufacturing facilities and over 100 commercial and sales centres around the world, AMMEGA demonstrably represents a new global leader in belting, dedicated to serving its ever-broadening customer base at a time when there is dramatically increasing demand for automation in many major industrial sectors in every geographical region.”
