Gintonica launches gin podcast
Gintonica has launched a new podcast to provide gin lovers with an insight into the Australian gin industry and share stories of local distilleries.
“In some parts of Australia, visits to distilleries or gin events are difficult, or even impossible right now, so we wanted to bring the distillery craftsmen and women into the gin lover’s home,” said Gintonica founder David Box.
Series 1 of the podcast, hosted by Box and television and radio presenter John Deeks, was launched in August and includes on-site interviews of eight Victorian distilleries. It includes four episodes, each comprising 2 x 15 min interviews, with the following distillers: Tiny Bear Distiller, Patient Wolf Distillery, Anther Distillery, Reed & Co Distillery, Hurdle Creek Still, Animus Distillery, Big Tree Distillery and Melbourne Gin Company.
Series 2 and beyond will include interviews from distillers, bars and gin-related businesses all over the country.
