Food technologies on show at foodpro 2026
Companies within the Fortifi Food Processing Solutions (Fortifi) platform will highlight solutions for food production, packaging and innovation at foodpro 2026 from 26–29 July at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Representatives from Frontmatec, MHM Automation and Wyma Solutions will be on hand at booth AD22, while Nothum representatives will welcome visitors in stand P2 with distributor Oestergaard.
MHM Automation supplies automated materials handling, and chilling and freezing systems to food processors across Australia and New Zealand. As the exclusive Oceania distributor of Denmark-based DSI Dantech and its energy-efficient plate freezing solutions, MHM will spotlight DSI technology at the show. DSI machines offer optimal solutions for smaller operators in the meat, pet food and seafood sectors. DSI’s horizontal plate freezers (pictured above) freeze boxed product while its vertical plate freezers handle both bulk and naked product.
Frontmatec will showcase broad capabilities for red meat processing, including solutions for slaughter lines, carcass handling, cutting and deboning, hygiene systems, logistics, software, automation, controls and service. The company will focus on integrated technologies that help processors improve yields, product quality, traceability, uptime and overall production efficiency to meet market pressures for increased productivity and reduced reliance on manual processes.

Wyma Solutions is a global provider of post-harvest vegetable and fruit handling systems, supporting growers, packhouses and processors worldwide with equipment for washing, grading, cooling, conveying and packaging. Wyma Solutions is also the exclusive Oceania partner for Burg, Manter and Flikweert, extending its regional offering with complementary automation, weighing, packaging and handling technologies. At foodpro 2026, Wyma Solutions will feature the Manter MoNo Clipper, a versatile tubular-netting packaging machine with continuous netting supply, integrated PE labelling unit and gentle, accurate produce handling. Designed specifically for onions, potatoes and fruits, and capable of handling a wide range of other produce, the system can produce more than 30 mono-material net bags per minute, with package weight ranging from 250 g to 5 kg. Because the bags and labels are made from a single material, they are easier to recycle than mixed-material packaging alternatives.

On stand P2 with distributor Oestergaard, Nothum will feature batter and breading solutions including the SuperFlex four-in-one breading machine for good yields with flat, drum, tripleflip and handtoss modes. Its versatility enables processors to replace multiple machines with one efficient producer and achieve changeover in minutes. Nothum also will highlight the BatterPro All-in-one Batter and Tempura Machine, which automatically mixes and chills ingredients while maintaining controlled viscosity for consistent batter or tempura application.
