Emerson Micro Motion Advanced Phase Measurement software
Emerson Process Management has introduced Micro Motion Advanced Phase Measurement (APM), a software option available on the Model 5700 Transmitter. The software helps improve measurement accuracy in multiphase applications, such as starch concentration for food and beverage plants.
The multiple phase measurement provides insight into the complete flow stream through an intuitive local display, enabling production engineers to track whether production is increasing or decreasing and thus allowing proactive management of changing field performance.
The software is also suitable for the life sciences and chemical industries, providing measurement insight to reduce waste, maintain product quality and identify process upsets in the presence of multiple phases.
