The PSENopt II Advanced IOLS new-generation safety light curtain is designed to redefine how industries approach machine safety and productivity. The light curtain with integrated IO-Link Safety combines advanced protection, intelligent diagnostics and seamless connectivity into a single powerful solution.

Engineered for finger, hand and body protection in accordance with EN/IEC 61496-1/-2, the curtain supports applications up to PL e / SIL 3 — to help ensure maximum safety performance across a wide range of industrial environments.

With IO-Link Safety, users can access real-time data from every individual beam, enabling faster commissioning, simplified troubleshooting and predictive maintenance based on signal quality insights. The feature of safe single-beam evaluation also allows precise object detection, offering flexibility in automated processes.

Designed with versatility in mind, the system includes muting options (L, T, X, and external), flexible blanking modes, reduced resolution and the ability to operate either in IO-Link Safety or traditional OSSD mode. This allows for easy integration into both new and existing systems.

Built for real-world conditions, the curtain can deliver robustness, easy installation and rapid commissioning. Combined with enhanced diagnostics and zero dead zones, it is designed to ensure protection, as well as smarter, efficient operations.
