Designed for use in conjunction with the MVP ICON, the MVP ICON Conductivity Probe is used to accurately measure sanitiser and cleaning solution concentration as parts per million. This ensures correct mixing of chemicals prior to, as well as during, application.
Using too much sanitiser can cost money for the excess chemical used, and may damage equipment and contaminate product. Using too little sanitiser means that cleaning and sanitising agents may not perform correctly.
The probe is safe for use in the food industry and requires little maintenance. It is re-usable and does not consume any reagents. It provides non-subjective results, unlike alternative methods such as test strip indicators or titrations.
The probe gives results in seconds. Results can be stored on the MVP ICON instrument, ready for upload into a database for possible tracking and trending. This information can be a useful HACCP record, especially during audits.
The probe can be used to test sanitisers such as quat, chlorine, iodine and peracetic acid.
