MatMan’s Teco simple-to-use washing machine can wash trays, crates, baskets, pails and buckets to a size of 490 mm wide and 260 mm high.

The simplicity of the tunnel washer design means that crates can be automatically or manually loaded into the machine at one end and come out the other end consistently clean. Suitable for single-person operation, the low-maintenance machine is able to wash up to 300 containers/h (soiling dependent).

The product has a 300 L main tank with heating elements. Water is recaptured through the tunnel washing process and is recycled back into the main tank via a filter to reduce water consumption. This is designed to provide both cost and environmental benefits.

The machine is suitable for a range of industry applications, including in fruit and vegetable packaging plants and pack houses washing collapsible crates for tomatoes, asparagus and mushrooms; meat and poultry processing washing hatchling trays for chicken processing; fisheries washing mussel crates, fresh fish and fish filleting bins; and nurseries for washing seedling trays and all grade plant pots.

The plug-and-play washing machine can be integrated into exiting lines or newly established sites. It can run all year round or seasonally, depending on the user’s requirements.
