Wulftec has FAST, a film feeding system which accurately delivers film to the pallet without reacting to demand. FAST stands for Force Anticipation Stretch Technology, which is the best way to control film failure, film ripping and breakage.
As the FAST technology eliminates excessive stress on the film it can be used to its full potential. Using conventional methods, users often reduce the film tension to a point where the film does not break and can waste up to 35% film force. With FAST, all the force in the film can be used and film consumption can be reduced while achieving the same containment.
The FAST system is suitable if loads have sharp edges, protruding objects or if the product is very light, out of shape or fragile.
