What is claimed to be the world’s only maintenance-free thermal ink jet printer for coding and marking on both porous and non-porous surfaces has been released by aps.
Effective on both porous and non-porous packaging and shipping materials, it has no moving parts. Its only consumable is the ink and when it runs out anyone can replace the cartridge.
The printer, called apsolute, will print directly onto the products, as well as onto the packaging.
