Propac Industrial hot-fill packaging system
Propac Industrial has helped Ampac Flexibles to develop an integrated, liquid hot-fill packaging system for the North American market.
Among the products to be provided is a vertical form fill system that combines Propac’s hot fill bag makers with Ampac’s 9000 VF films.
The Propac Hot Fill series of vertical form fill seal machines is designed specifically for the packaging of pumpable food products. The machines can handle products at temperatures of up to 92 °C and can be packed in up to 20 kg bags with all air expelled from the bag. Suitable for cook/chill applications — smooth products and products with particulate up to 25 mm in size can be reliably packaged in a one part fill.
A heavy-duty version of this series is capable of packaging high-viscosity pumpable products.
