One-way kegs

The KeyKeg consortium has announced two new product developments for the one-way keg market — the KeyKeg disposable dispensing line and the first three KeyKeg beer and wine cooler dispensers to accommodate the new disposable dispensing line.

With the disposable dispensing line a brewery can assure a better beer at any time, even in places where the barkeeper prefers to forget the cleaning of the lines. Because of improved hygiene, the quality of the beer or wine dispensed will be assured with the disposable dispensing line. Besides that, the special design of the disposable dispensing line together with the KeyKeg will result in much easier dispensing compared to conventional dispensing systems. The disposable dispensing line is made of polypropylene and is 1.8 m long.

The KeyKeg consortium beer and wine coolers with dispensing towers accommodate the disposable dispensing line. The SK-2s and SK-2c are the most compact combinations for cooling and dispensing. The SK-2s can contain two spherical KeyKeg 20s and the SK-2c the two cylindrical KeyKeg 20s. The SK-6 can hold six cylindrical KeyKeg 20s, four spherical KeyKeg 20s or combinations of these. Together with the triple beer tower, three different beverages can be dispensed from one cooling cabinet, minimising space in the outlet. The combinations have been developed for the catering industry and outlets with a lower to moderate volume.
