Owens-Illinois has introduced locally manufactured glass olive oil bottles in Australia.
Produced at O-I’s Melbourne plant, the Marasca olive oil range is available in classic green 500 mL and 750 mL bottles.
The range is designed to support Australia’s growing olive oil industry and is suitable for both local and international product.
The bottles have a European look and will provide local growers with greater freight efficiencies by eliminating the need to import bottles.
The Marasca range includes an olive oil closure-friendly finish and is said to be designed to appeal to the most discerning olive oil connoisseurs.
