Moss MO 2062 rotary dry offset printing machine

The Moss MO 2062 is a rotary dry offset machine for printing up to 4 colours on the top of bottle screw caps, with a production speed from 30,000 to 300,000 pieces per hour.

The caps are fed to the machine via a gravity cap feeder and the continuous motion of the central drum ensures the concentricity of the printing irrespective of speed, the company claims. The caps are dried using a high-power ultra violet device.

Cap diameter changeover is enabled by quick change of the central vacuum wheel. A pre-print option allows a base colour to be applied to the cap before printing. According to Moss, this enhances the secondary print decoration colour density.

The automatic piece counter, integrated before unloading the closures to boxes, ensures precise counting of all the printed closures and also controls the automatic changeover of boxes to be filled.

An optional vision inspection system can detect defects such as wrong colours, colour variances, contamination, misaligned prints, missing print and scratches and marks.
