The Mesutronic Transmetron 05 CI metal detector is suitable for inspecting products along a conveyor belt.
The detector automatically removes, without interruption, metal-contaminated products on conveyors and clean products pass without delay through the metal detector. A metallic contaminant in the product changes the high-frequency field within the detector coil and the electronic evaluation system then generates a switching impulse which activates the separation system by means of a cylinder and solenoid.
The detector has high sensitivity even with conductive products. The integrated electronic evaluation system with LCD graphics, touch-screen operating surface and clearly arranged menu system is simple to use, reducing training time and increasing the versatility of the machine.
