Label applicator

The Jetstick industrial applicator is designed for rapid bar code label application in industrial situations.

It is air powered and integrates with a bar code label printer such as the Intermec PM4i by way of a base plate.

When the printer presents the printed bar code label, the applicator holds the label via suction and positions it for ‘blow’ application onto the target package or carton.

Because the labels are applied by air, the label application works accurately on items of irregular sizes, shapes and surfaces. Labels up to 100 x 150 mm can be applied from 100 mm.

As there is no physical contact with the item, the system will not damage the goods or touch the surface. It uses its own air amplifier that increases the air pressure without increasing the amount of air required.

The unit is manufactured from high-strength aluminium finished with an anodised surface and has only two moving parts (motor and air valve).

Optional wireless network connectivity will enable it to be remotely managed via a warehouse management system, desktop PC or a wireless handheld computer.
