High-speed 100 cpm case packers

OCME Srl and HBM Packaging Technologies have released a series of Altair Wraparound Case Packers which can reach speeds of up to 100 cartons per minute.

The first of these high-speed models has been installed in China at a brewery and has been designed to pack glass bottles at outputs over 70 cpm with maximum efficiency.

By making minor modifications to the existing Altair design, OCME can reach speeds of 70, 80, 90 and 100 cartons per minute, making the new packers suitable for large-scale production facilities in the beverage market.

Carton quality is maintained by the flap lockup device, adjustable gluing system and positive press system, which can be set according to the type and size of carton and required output.

Simple format changes can be achieved quickly through the PC HMI due to the considerable use of brushless motors on all models.

More than 1300 OCME case packers have been installed worldwide in the past 25 years.
