Heuft Systemtechnik eXaminer X-ray systems can be used for the quality inspection of filled containers during the production of foods and drinks.

The very low radiation exposure and the integrated filter and image analysis technologies ensure maximum detection reliability with a minimum false rejection rate.

The system inspects unpackaged and packaged products lying on the conveyor for foreign objects and completeness among other things. For this they are examined by means of X-rays. The radiation is only activated for a fraction of a second when a product is actually in the inspection area. The radiation intensity is far below the permitted limit value for the inspection of food because of this. In addition, the short exposure time of this pulsed radiometric measurement ensures pin-sharp X-ray photographs.

In order to analyse these precisely, the eXaminer XB is equipped with special filter technologies and the reflexx high-performance image processing system which clearly differentiate real faults from packaging structures or product inhomogeneities. This increases the detection accuracy and reduces the false rejection rate.
