Heuft eXaminer XA foreign object inspection unit

Friday, 26 February, 2010 | Supplied by: JW Industrial Instruments Pty Ltd

The Heuft eXaminer XA can be used to identify foreign objects such as pieces of broken glass or metal in liquid, paste-like and spreadable products and remove contaminated packages.

The low-radiation, pulsed radiometric measurement is only activated when a product is actually in the inspection area. The integrated reflexx and nbx picture analysis and filter technologies ensure maximum detection accuracy with a minimum false rejection rate.

Packaging structures and product inhomogeneities are clearly differentiated from dangerous foreign objects. Therefore, the machine is suitable for sustainable quality assurance of soft drinks, jams, sweet creams, cocoa powder and other confectioneries.
