Launched in Canada, the Earthcycle Packaging range of backyard compostable trays is available in two colours - natural earth and black. The contemporary and functional tray line was specially designed for the agriculture industry, with protection and merchandising in mind.
The trays are suitable for tomatoes, avocados, kiwi, stone fruit, mangoes and apples, as well as any commodity that needs a higher level of protection in shipping between packing and the store.
Claimed to be 100% compostable and recyclable, the renewable trays are said to be composted in as little as 90 days. The trays are made and moulded to hold almost any fresh product. For example, built-in cup options or flatbed versions are available.
