The Linx 7300 is suited to a wide range of industries as the technology in the continuous ink jet (CIJ) printer focuses on pared-back running costs and service intervals tailored to the printer’s operating environment to reduce servicing - both achieved without compromising quality.

The Linx 7300 features minimised production downtime, error-free coding and future-proofing.

Dynamically adjusted service intervals tailor service intervals to the customer’s specific environment and usage, with intervals of up to 6000 h possible.

There are no ink modules to replace and there is no need to change the ink tank between services.

The standard printer offers economy in solvent consumption; however, heavy, 24/7 users will benefit from the 7300 Solver option, which can cut solvent use up to 40% by using specially created intelligent software that ‘thinks as it inks’ to adjust solvent use according to the application.

The SureFill system means operators cannot refill the printer with incorrect inks or solvent, avoiding service call-outs or repairs.

Cleaning and drying innovations mean manual cleaning is only needed once a month. This eliminates productions delays to the point customers can gain up to one week of production uptime during the first year of installation, compared with a printer that requires daily cleaning.

The printer’s robust, curvaceous stainless steel enclosure also avoids dirt traps and allows liquid to run easily off the printer.

Accuracy is ensured with the QuickSwitch software, where operators simply scan the bar codes on pre-printed job sheets or on products being coded. An integral USB port sees problem-free code and printer-setting transfer between printers.

To future proof a business’s investment, the Linx 7300 can adapt when needs change over time. For instance, Data Matrix and three-line coding are provided as standard, with optional four- and five-line printing; plus there’s a wide range of code formats available, including logos and bar codes.
