Sports caps provide a solution for ‘on-the-go’ consumption and a quick-close option. The next-generation Bericap Push Pull sports cap fulfills such requests and, in addition, requires no aluminium and provides a high flow rate.

The consumer-friendly design was first introduced in 2010 and has high acceptance, which can be underlined by the increasing demand for this closure.

Due to the design of Push Pull Next Generation the use of an aluminium foil in an aseptic filling process is no longer necessary. The cap is suitable for an aseptic filling process and for both wet and dry contamination.

The consumer does not have to pull the aluminium foil away and can enjoy drinking after just opening the overcap and then pulling up the shutter. It is claimed that the consumer will experience a 30% higher flow rate compared to alternative sports closures in the market.

The three-piece cap provides a good seal using the DoubleSeal technology. N2 dosing is a feasible option, which often is used in the aseptic filling process.
