Tetra Pak packages approved by the Swedish Rheumatism Association
Five additional Tetra Pak packages have been certified by the Swedish Rheumatism Association (SRA) for their ease of use.
“Product functionality and consumer experience are principal drivers of our development activities,” said Charles Brand, VP marketing and product management at Tetra Pak.
Tetra Pak has introduced HeliCap, a one-step screw cap designed to provide a good grip with a clearly visible tamper-evidence ring, and DreamCap, an ergonomically designed closure for on-the-go consumption. The shape of packages has also been amended. The Tetra Brik Aseptic Edge has an angled top, which allows more space for the fingers, making the cap easier to grip.
The SRA is well recognised in the packaging industry adopting internationally recognised testing protocols. The association certifies products, identifying the specific needs of people with reduced hand strength such as the elderly and those suffering from rheumatism-related diseases.
