Schneider Electric debuts five 'Advisor' apps

At its Industry Automation Innovation Day, Schneider Electric revealed five EcoStruxure ‘Advisor’ apps and services to aid the digital transformation of Australian and New Zealand businesses. The Advisor Apps can be applied to the manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, consumer packaged goods, water utilities and machine building industries.

“The Advisor Apps, Analytics and Services give users complete visibility of all connected products in a business’s ecosystem, while delivering the analytics needed to drive efficiency, safety, reliability and sustainability,” said Brad Yager, Director of Strategy for Industry Automation at Schneider Electric.

Digital transformation that is reinforced by IoT and the data it collects could reinvigorate Australia’s productivity growth. This is supported by a report carried out by Schneider Electric using evidence from 230 projects across five years. The report indicates that the digitisation of engineering processes can save businesses and organisations an average of 35% in CapEx costs and time optimisation.

The Equipment Energy Advisor allows profiling and measurement of micro, persistent and hidden losses in manufacturing environments. Created by and for operators, the app collects, measures, analyses and reports operational performance, availability, quality and OEE, while performing root cause analyses.

The Equipment Efficiency Advisor app includes a Lean Manufacturing Tool for performance management and a real-time KPI for machines and production lines, accessible through a graphical interface. The app allows manufacturers to make business sense out of plant operating data and improve overall OEE performance.

The EcoStruxure Process Safety Advisor aggregates real-time data, analytics and insights from multiple sites into a single user interface, allowing users to create an accurate risk profile in real time.

The Safety Advisor app enables users to understand risks and make decisions to drive better business results. With the app, users can control risks to the safety, sustainability, reliability and profitability of their operations.

EcoStruxure Pumping Performance Advisor increases the performance and sustainability of water and wastewater pumping stations and is delivered through consulting and software as a digital service.

The EcoStruxure Power Advisor uses algorithms to identify gaps or issues in power management systems. The Power Advisor allows users to track and analyse equipment conditions and receive advanced warnings remotely.

The Clean-in-Place Advisor provides a complete Walkthrough Audit, helpful when determining the quality of energy, automation and process practices. The CIP monitoring tool provides traceability and diagnostics, product loss monitoring, energy monitoring dashboard and real-time reports.
