Pick-and-place system

Jorgensen Engineering has developed a robotic system for pick and place.

The concept is built on three flex picker robots, which pick the scoops and place them in the empty cans passing by.

Capacities are about 300 scoops/min and are monitored by the vision camera, which registers the exact position of the scoops, and the computer, which must calculate which one of the three robots has to pick and place which scoop.

The advantages of the system are flexibility and precision.
