Pallet dispensers

King Materials Handling has introduced a range of pallet dispensers with minimal footprint.

Three sizes are offered - 15, 20 and 25 pallet. The 15 pallet unit is where the lift mechanism is housed. To add pallet height, a 5 pallet or 10 pallet chute is added to the base unit. The chute components are shipped inside the base unit to lower shipping costs. Assembly of the chute on site is simple. A removable lifting bar makes loading the dispenser onto a truck simple. It also helps when positioning the dispenser in its new home, ready for bolt down.

The completely open entrance enables pallets to be quickly placed into the dispenser, using a hand pallet truck, powered pallet truck or forklift. The angled entrance guides ensure misaligned pallets fit snugly into the dispenser. The pallet stack can be topped up by forklift at any time, without the need to clear obstructions from the entrance.

The air lift version requires just shop air (about 100 psi). A pressure gauge/water separator is fitted to the rear of the machine, ready to accept the air line. Air is available for the 15 and 20 pallet versions.

To dispense a single pallet, simply push the lever to 'up'. Two heavy-duty fingers slip in under the second pallet from each side, and the stack is raised by 40 mm, enabling the bottom pallet to be removed by hand pallet truck, powered pallet truck or forklift. Push the lever to 'down' and the stack slowly sinks to the ground where the pallet fingers retract back into the two side panels. The fingers are then raised and positioned ready to go into action within seconds.

The hydraulic lift version is available for the 20 and 25 pallet versions. Just plug into a 240 V socket, push the buttons on the front panel and a pallet is quickly available.

The footprint is small - 1860 x 1520 mm.

Standard size pallet units are available and units can be built to accommodate any pallet size.
