Three sets of ingredient scales were recently supplied to South Australia’s largest confectionery maker, Robern Menz. The ingredient scales were supplied to their Glynde factory in Adelaide for weighing ingredients and for weight-checking filled boxes of sweets.

For the ingredient weighing tasks, Zac Bartolovic from Accuweigh’s Port Melbourne branch sourced suitable scales from A&D Australasia - previously A&D Mercury. The ingredient scales supplied were two sets of FG-30 scales and one set of FS-15 scales.

The FG ingredient scales are available in bench mount or floor mount with a choice of AC or battery-power operation. Optional data and control outputs are also available. The FS wet area checkweighing scale is suitable for product preparation and for packaging uses. The fully stainless steel construction of this scale ensures longevity in the harshest areas.
