Check scales were recently supplied to Montague Fresh at Strathfield in NSW. The check scales are being used for checkweighing and prepacking of organic fruits for delivery to clients.

Jason Allen of Accuweigh’s Newcastle branch supplied a set of Avery 3265 checkweighing scales, which are completely washdown safe and suitable for tough environments.

The check scales have a weighing capacity of 30 kg and feature stainless steel construction, including base, column and load cell.

The display on this check scale can be tilted from vertical up to 20° to ensure a comfortable viewing angle for the operator.

The Avery 3265 check scales have two weighing modes: normal weighing mode, for use as prepack scales, and checkweighing mode with under/over/accept weight ranges.

The display housing is rated to NEMA 4X, which allows the checkweighing scales to be used in all food processing areas - including washdown applications.
