New Zealand vanilla grower and producer Heilala Vanilla has launched a vanilla powder. Made from 100% vanilla beans, the powder is free from artificial colours, flavours, buffers, additives and sugar, and is gluten free.
The product is made by drying and grinding Heilala vanilla beans into a fine powder. Two grams of the ground vanilla powder is equivalent to one vanilla bean.
The powder is suitable to use in baking, desserts, smoothies or where vanilla extract or paste is not preferred. It can be used in applications where liquid is an issue.
It is available in 25, 100 and 250 g packs.
