Danisco begins marketing Chymostar Supreme, a proprietary, fermentation-produced chymosin.

Chymostar Supreme is a fermentation-produced chymosin (FPC) — an important ingredient for cheese production.

Danisco now has FPC production capabilities following the acquisition of Genencor in 2005. Danisco’s Genencor Division develops and manufactures industrial enzymes.

With Chymostar Supreme added to its portfolio, Danisco now provides a full line of cultures and enzymes — two key processing heads in cheesemaking. Chymostar Supreme matches the quality and performance of other commercial coagulants and gives cheesemakers another source of FPC.
