Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has invited public comment on an assessment report for a genetically modified corn line.

FSANZ Chief Executive Officer Steve McCutcheon said the second assessment report for an application to approve the herbicide-tolerant corn line had been released for public comment.

“FSANZ welcomes comments from government agencies, public health professionals, industry and the community on issues raised in the report,” McCutcheon said.
