Registrations open for AUSPACK National Technical Forums

The National Technical Forums will once again be held as a part of Packaging & Processing Week, in conjunction with AUSPACK 2015.

The program for the 2015 forums has been released, showcasing 37 speakers, including eight internationals, covering a range of topics over four days addressing the theme of ‘Open Innovation & Collaboration’.

Keynote speakers include Innes Willox, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Industry Group, who will discuss the challenges and the future directions of manufacturing in Australia. Adam Robinson, Senior Packaging Technologist, Coles will present on private label packaging, Chris Smith, General Manager - Sales & Marketing, Orora Beverage will highlight their resealable can end product, while Daniel Grimsey, Packaging Analyst, Euromonitor will present on driving future growth through packaging innovation.

International speakers will address a range of topics, including global trends for robotics in packaging and food processing, bioplastics, next-generation can-filling, bottle-forming and filling, next-generation packaging, bag packaging technology and sensor-based sorting and processing.
