Nestlé launches new R+D site in Switzerland
Nestlé has launched its newest and largest R+D Accelerator. The site, located in Lausanne, Switzerland, is part of Nestlé's R+D Accelerator program which aims to foster innovative new products and concepts by providing participant teams with a selection of infrastructure and expertise.
The 4000 m2 site is equipped with prototyping kitchens, miniature production facilities and co-working areas. Participants of the program are provided with mentorship and support, including from senior Nestlé management. They can also utilise Nestlé’s R+D experts from around the world in order to bring their product to market.
Nestlé has 12 R+D Accelerator sites around the world, each concentrating on a different region or product category. 165 participants have gone through the program since it launched in 2019, with almost 70 products being tested across 18 countries.
Entrepreneurs, start-ups, students, graduates and internal staff are invited to join the program, with more information to be found here.
