Juremont to distribute Barry Callebaut chocolate in ANZ
Ingredient supplier Juremont has announced it will be the new distributor of Barry Callebaut’s industrial chocolate products for food manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand from 1 September 2019.
The addition of Barry Callebaut’s chocolate products to Juremont’s existing ingredients portfolio will enable the company to better serve its customers.
“Taking on the Barry Callebaut chocolate business aligns well with Juremont’s existing cocoa distributorship with Barry Callebaut. We see this as complementary to our overall operations whereby customers will benefit from our knowledge base and understanding of the global cocoa and chocolate markets,” said Juremont’s Managing Director, Andrew Rolle.
Ben De Schryver, President for Barry Callebaut in Asia Pacific, said, “Barry Callebaut is delighted to extend our partnership with Juremont, and have been impressed with their professionalism, customer support and technical capability. Juremont has the reputation, the reach and the commitment to build our chocolate business in Australia and New Zealand. Australia and New Zealand remain exciting markets for Barry Callebaut where we will work closely with Juremont to drive innovation and growth for our customers and consumers.”
