AIP launches training for cold chain packaging
The Australian Institute of Packaging is working with the Australian Food Cold Chain Council to run an introductory training course about the role of packaging in the cold chain.
The training will be held online and hosted by Professor Pierre Pienaar. Attendees will be taught how the cold chain works, its requirements, how to reduce food waste and loss through decision-making, and the part the packaging people can play in this.
The course is open to anybody in the industry but will be of particular interest to those working with or interested in the cold chain, such as retailers and manufacturers, as well as those in the packaging business wanting to avoid food waste.
Additionally, anyone in the supply chain and logistics, transport and distribution, packaging, procurement and operations sectors can benefit from the course.
The training will take place on 15 September, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Click here for registration details.
