Tray denester

The JKT Speed Disp tray denester is specially developed to handle closely stacked trays in a variety of shapes at high speeds of to 120 trays p/minute depending on the tray design. Available for full wash down/high care factories, the compact Speed Disp can be provided as a stand alone a machine on a stainless steel stand, or it can be fully integrated into many different types of filling, lid sealing and flowrapping machines.

Marty Rodgers, managing director, Packaging Automation explained, "Most traditional machines on the market require a stack of trays with minimum space of 5mm between the trays. The Speed-Disp separates trays down to a space of only 0.5mm. The speed of the system is really impressive, it is unlike anything I have seen on the market both here and overseas."

The Speed-Disp easily handles 60 trays p/minute as standard but depending on the tray design it can reach speeds of up to 120 trays p/minute. Difficult trays such as plastic clamshell or aluminum trays can be handled without any problems. The machines small footprint (500x500mm) means that it takes up little in-feed space. The pneumatic controls mean that Speed-Disp requires only a signal from an electric valve to cycle the system. Denester head changeovers to accommodate different tray sizes are easy and take operators less than a minute.

It is available with an optional auto loader as seen in the picture above.
