High reliability and low running costs are claimed for a range of sanitary pumps engineered by JEC.

The pumps are precision engineered and easy to clean in place (CIP) and have specific applications in the food, beverage, dairy, wine and pharmaceutical industries.

The pumps come in three ranges: rotary lobe, centrifugal and self-priming side-channel centrifugal. All are built from AISI 316 stainless steel and approved to a European hygiene standard.

The rotary lobe units protect fluids by gently minimising foaming. They handle fluids from low to high viscosity and self-prime.

Centrifugals in the range feature special spiral casings and double curved impellers to boost suction while cutting energy consumption. Besides safeguarding fluid integrity, they run quietly to improve safety and comfort in the workplace.

Fluids containing variable amounts of air or gas are pumped reliably and efficiently by JEC's side-channel centrifugals. These units are suitable for use as return pumps in cleaning systems and their design yields unusually quiet running.

All models come with optional seals, mountings and flange connections. Matching interface systems include meters, valves and filters.
