The range of climate monitors from IT WatchDogs can be used to protect server rooms, laboratories, cool rooms and store rooms that require climate control.

The range includes the compact MicroGoose climate monitor that can be placed almost anywhere. Its built-in sensors can measure temperature and humidity while user-defined alarm points can be set to notify a system administrator when extreme conditions occur.

The MicroGoose-II provides an additional digital sensor port allowing external sensors to be attached. Available digital sensors include temperature, humidity, dewpoint, airflow and power monitoring.

The MicroGoose climate monitors include an internal web server that can be accessed to remotely check the status of the environment and view graphs of logged data.

Support for email and SNMP allows recipients to be directly notified, or network monitoring programs such as HP OpenView or What’s Up Gold to easily add the climate monitor to their list of devices.
