The versatility of forkliftable and stackable containers for transferring liquids, such as the Chep Unicon, TNT Pallecon and Shultz IBCs, will ensure their increasing use for liquid transfer.

However, one problem that arises using these types of liquid transfer vessels is where higher density ingredients or particles settle out of suspension during storage or transport.

Teralba Industrie's Mixquip division has developed an agitator to blend or mix products within these vessels. The portable mixer, Rummager 1000 combines the simple concept of an air operated diaphragm pump with an engineered Venturi action resulting in high velocity mixing.

One of the features of the Rummager 1000 is that there are no moving parts within the vessel. This means the Rummager 1000 is safe to use in all vessels including those with flexible liners or 'bag in box' configurations.

All Rummager 1000 components are high grade polypropylene and 316 stainless steel. Products including paint, chocolate and chemicals can be successfully mixed using a Rummager 1000.
