Food portioning control scale

The FD Food Portioning Control Scale has been designed for a wide range of manufacturing and industrial food service applications. The scale combines a rugged stainless steel housing design with fast, accurate and durable weighing technology.

Designed for use in bakeries, food manufacturing and other areas requiring cleanliness, accuracy and reliability, the FD Series has been designed to meet the strict requirements of certification to NSF C-2 for food equipment and is USDA accepted to NSF/3-A 14159-1-2002 for use in meat and poultry processing.

The removable stainless steel pan is dishwasher-safe, and the front panel is leak-proof for easy cleaning. Able to operate via an internal rechargeable battery or AC adapter, the FD Scale is also portable and has four adjustable rubber levelling feet.

Suitable for food portioning and checkweighing, the FD Series features a three LED 'over/under/accept' indicator with an audible alarm, and a dedicated 'target' button for quick set-up of over/under values. The large, backlit LCD presents results in easy-to-read 19 mm digits. The scale also offers multiple weighing units, including kg, g, lb and oz, and can be configured to display all, some or only one weighing unit.

The FD scale is easy to use, featuring an intuitive interface and advanced software capabilities. Using the simple, four-button keypad on the scale's front panel, the scale can be set to the mode and weighing units required for any operation in just seconds. Once the desired configuration is set, it can be easily locked in with either the software or the hardware locks. The FD scale can be configured to accept tare signals manually, automatically or using an optional foot switch.

The series comprises three models, with capacities and readabilities of 3 x 0.0005, 6 x 0.001 and 15 x 0.002 kg.
