AIP goes to Bali

Thursday, 20 February, 2014

The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) is heading to Bali. In conjunction with the Indonesian Packaging Federation and the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), the AIP will deliver a training course and several packaging workshops.

All sessions will be held at the Swiss Belhotel Seminyak in Bali. The event comprises two parallel workshops with class discussions from 5-7 March and a visit to the Food, Hotel and Tourism Expo at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre on 8 March.

The workshops aim to equip participants with greater in-depth knowledge to tackle the challenges facing the packaging industry today and competitive advantages for upcoming AEC market opportunities.

The organisers say the packaging training course will help strengthen participants’ packaging capabilities, providing a level of insight and understanding of the packaging industry that adds real and measurable value to careers and businesses.

Packaging Workshop A focuses on paper board, rigid plastic packaging and labels; Packaging Workshop B covers flexible packaging, tubes and paper board packaging.

The packaging training course, to be run by the AIP, focuses on packaging technology.
